The World of Horror

Hey! I am Darren WJ Mills. I am a freelance writer and an author of horror fiction, novels and short stories. I have a passion for horror fiction which I hope over the years many will come to love and appreciate through the stories I have written/will write over time. With regards to this horror loving site however, I am known as Horrorbuffbobby, founder, Director, Editor-in-Chief and of course, a horror crazy fan!

I’ll start by saying that I, me, horror buff bobby, am a massive fan of anything horror. I don’t know why, but from a young age, from the very first time I secretly sneaked a peek at John Carpenters “The Thing”, and had nightmares for months, I found the need to seek out, watch and read as many of the good, bad and totally insane horror concepts that I could find.

Now as I was an 80’s baby, I spent most of the 90’s watching all the horrors that came out during the 80's. So to this day, although many a great horror has been produced, I can’t help but be more of a fan of the greats that came from that decade, making me a big creature feature fan.
Don’t get me wrong though, I’m not just a strange creature feature lover, I’m a fan of all kinds of horror styles, the paranormal, aliens, serial killers and even scary parent in-laws! But the ones that creep me out the most are those that consist of creatures, or especially ones to do with Zombies or Body Snatcher aliens! I know Zombies and body snatchers don’t scare everyone, but for me, they create the feelings of fear the greatest and over time have come to hound my nightmares the most!
